Designing characters ain't my thing, but this one I did almost the same moment I learned 3D basics. Or so I thought (check comparisons in pictures)
The Dark Knight of the Christopher Nolan trilogy, it is the best Batman in my opinion, and I thought my 3D model it deserved decent upgrade.
After all it was my third ever model and against the 3D instructor at the time I took it as a challenge to try and see what I can do. I did what I did, I was happy with it at the time and it was long now left in my library "unfinished".
It was tough to find good blueprint at the time, so I had one on which it didn't quite had all details that the actual Dark Knight in the movie has, and that always troubled me. So now I decided to step up and improve it.
Now fully into details, to the original design of the Dark Knight, UV mapped, with Christian Bale face (i tried as much as I could) behind the cowl, I can say I am very happy with what I’ve achieved, again, having in mind that characters ain't something I did often, if at all...
I hope you will like it!
This is a showcase of how the model was initially made six years ago & how it is after remastering it(this past week)
