Autodesk Maya certified 3D artist specializing in Game Design and Animation at M3DS Academy 2017, UpWork's Top Rated+ freelancer, former AAA vehicle artist for RaceRoom, passionate about racing & automotive design.
Working closely with 3D modelers, game designers, and other team members ensuring cohesive integration of 3D assets and characters into the Unity-based game.
Over the course of a transformative year at the M3DS Academy I acquired a comprehensive and in-depth education in Game Design and Animation. This journey was divided into three pivotal phases, each four months long, ensuring a progressive mastery of 3D artistry.
Foundations of 3D Artistry
I began by building a solid foundation in 3D artistry, immersing myself in industry-standard software such as Maya and Zbrush. I mastered essential skills in 3D modeling, sculpting, and texturing, refined my rendering techniques, and gained proficiency in proper topology and UV mapping. Additionally, I explored Substance Painter, establishing a deep-rooted understanding of these tools and techniques.
Advancing Your Craft
In the next phase, I elevated my artistic abilities by delving into character modeling, vehicles modeling and other advanced texturing techniques, and prop concepting. Utilizing Photoshop for concept art, I created props from initial concept to final rendered outputs. This phase allowed me to hone my technical skills and nurture my unique creative process, unlocking my artistic potential.
Culmination of 3D Artistry
The final phase, I transformed creative visions into tangible works of art by venturing into Unreal Engine 5 where I created two portfolio projects that showcased my full journey from 3D model to game engine environment.
Throughout this year, I gained a comprehensive education in game design and animation, equipping me with the skills and knowledge to excel in the industry.

As chosen among the best students in the first generation of M3DS Academy in 2017 I was invited by the academy to participate in the role of 3D Instructor Assistant in the several showcases the academy did at several universities in our capital city Skopje, namely at Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering and The Faculty for Mechanical Engineering where twice a week for one month we held free two-hour tutoring and transferring all the techniques we learned as part of the Game Design and Animation course at M3DS, onto first year graduates at the above-mentioned universities, to speed up their process and integration into the CAD softwares.
My role was to assist the instructor with practical works on computer during talks as well as participating in explaining further details & certain elements of a specific tasks.
This course I took covers the concepts of visual effects in film production, the workflow, video and imaging technology, image processing, colour correction, tracking and matchmove, rotoscoping, keying, temporal operations and 2.5D virtual scenery, compositing and how the VFX field integrates computer graphics.
The experienced mentors gradually walked us through the art of storytelling with visual effects giving insight into how visual effects fit into the more extensive film-making process.
Encouraged to develop creative filmmaking skills by having the opportunity to create and film shots for their final project with professional equipment with the help of theirs experienced film crew.
We gained knowledge of the video and imaging technology and the fundamental tools and techniques used by the different artists in the 2D pipeline of the Visual Effects (VFX) industry and learn how to navigate through the industry-proven software.
We learned:
- Fundamentals of digital designs,
- Layer-based compositing,
- Clean plate & wire removal,
- Concepts of set extension & CG integration
- Match moving & camera tracking
- Methods
Learn how CG elements can be integrated into live-action plates, specifically how these elements are digitally composited.
- Concepts
Understand the concepts of visual effects, both analogue and digital, in film production. Be aware of real-world production problems and timelines.
- Breakdown
- Rotoscoping
- Paint
- Matchmove
- Compositing
