Scout 1965 Westland

The Scout 1965 Westland 3D model was initially developed as a commissioned piece. It is my first 3D modeling of a helicopter. As much as I have experience with cars and hardsurface models, in all these years I realized that nothing is given or should be taken for granted and that quite often you would need a somewhat different approach in completing the work efficiently and effectively. 
After completion, being very invested in this and wanted to complete it fully, in my personal time I expanded upon the original project to explore texturing possibilities, and deepen the level of realism as well detail to the model - with creative freedom - as I saw it fit, but in the same time keeping in touch with the initial inspiration that was a Bahrain Police Scout 1965 Westland helicopter from which I had all but one reference. It was lot of fun, especially texturing and photo editing. It's a piece I am proud of and hereby want to share it with you all. Hope you like it!
